Asia Run turns a classic Asian range concept into a clean, rule-based day trading system.

The Asian range

While London sleeps, the Asian session quietly builds the day’s first structure. Asia Run marks the high and low of that session — 00:00 to 07:00 UK time — and treats the band as the day’s reference range.

Shaded on the chart, this range is what the whole playbook keys off. Nothing happens until one side of it gets taken.

Going long off the low sweep

When price sweeps below the Asian low and snaps back inside, the move down is treated as a liquidity grab — and the playbook looks to fade it. A fair value gap forming on the reclaim confirms the entry, and the position targets the run back toward the opposite side of the range.

Going short off the high sweep

The mirror setup: price runs above the Asian high, fails to hold, and snaps back into the range. The playbook fades the failed breakout, entering on the fair value gap left by the rejection — highlighted in orange — with the stop above the sweep.

The target is the run back down toward the opposite end of the range.

The settings that matter

TP Mode is the big one. In Dynamic mode the playbook targets the opposite-side liquidity of the range — the natural destination of the run — and only takes setups clearing the Dynamic min R:R floor. Prefer fixed maths? Switch to fixed and the TP R:R multiple takes over.

SL Lookback Bars controls how far back the stop hunts for structure, and the session times (00:00–07:00 range, 07:00–16:30 trade window, UK time) frame the day. Profit Trailing is available here too — the same system-wide BE ladder covered on ORB.
