Pacekeeper — the ATR trailing stop, used as the signal itself.
A Chandelier Exit hangs a stop a set number of ATRs below the highest high of the recent window. It is normally used to EXIT a trend trade — the line follows price up and never falls back, so it tightens as the move matures.
Pacekeeper inverts that idea and uses the line as the entry signal instead. The line renders on the chart, so the level that defines the trend is always visible.
When price crosses back above the trailing line, the condition that would have stopped a short out has been met — the trend has flipped up, and Pacekeeper takes the long. The short side mirrors it against the upper line.
Because the line only moves in one direction until it flips, the signal is naturally self-throttling: it fires on the turn, not repeatedly through a trend.
CE Multiplier is the main dial — how many ATRs the line hangs from the extreme. Wider gives the trend more room and flips less often; tighter reacts sooner and takes more trades.
CE Period sets the window the extreme is measured over, and the 5R target reflects the design: few signals, each given room to run.
