NY Swing is a rule-based system that looks for a reversion setup in the NY session.
Swing maps the day with two reference ranges: the Asian session (00:00–07:00 UK time) and the London session (08:00–12:00 UK time). Both are shaded on the chart and together they define the levels that matter for the rest of the day.
The playbook then watches how New York treats those levels — a sweep of either range’s high or low is the tell that sets the day’s bias.

When New York sweeps below the session lows and snaps back, the move down is read as a liquidity grab and the bias flips long. Inside the entry window the playbook waits for a fair value gap to form on the reclaim and enters the reversion.
The FVG that triggered the trade stays highlighted in green, the stop sits beneath the sweep, and the target is the swing back toward the opposite session level.

The mirror image: a run above the session highs that fails sets a short bias. The playbook enters on the fair value gap left by the rejection — highlighted in orange — with the stop above the sweep.
The target is the reversion back down through the day’s range.

The session times frame everything: the Asia range (00:00–07:00), the London range (08:00–12:00), and the New York entry window (14:30–17:00, all UK time) where setups are actually taken.
TP R:R sets the reward multiple, and SL Lookback Bars controls how far back the stop hunts for structure. Profit Trailing is available here too — the same system-wide BE ladder covered on ORB.
