    About this playbook

Waypoint — the round-number level, taken with the trend.

    The handles

Round numbers are the levels everyone can see without an indicator — the big handles where orders cluster simply because they are memorable. Waypoint marks the nearest ones above and below price and draws them on your chart.

They need no calculation and no lookback. They are simply there, the same for every trader watching the market.

With the trend, not against it

Most level playbooks FADE the level — selling into resistance, buying into support, betting the level holds against the prevailing move. Waypoint deliberately does the opposite.

The level supplies the LOCATION and the long-term average supplies the DIRECTION: a pullback into the handle from above, inside an uptrend, closing back up, is bought as a continuation. That inversion is the whole design.

    The settings that matter

Round Step sets the spacing of the handles — the size of the increments the market is judged against. Wider spacing means fewer, more significant levels.

The touch zone decides how close counts as a touch, above and below the level independently, and the cooldown stops one visit to a handle firing repeatedly as price hovers around it.
